Officials from the Dubai Parks and Resorts theme park complex have announced that the facility will celebrate its grand opening on Oct. 31. The new amusement park complex will feature over 100 rides and attractions across four parks—Bollywood Parks Dubai, Motiongate Dubai, LEGOLAND Dubai and the LEGOLAND Water Park.

In addition, the facilities will feature a themed retail, dining, and entertainment space dubbed Riverland Dubai, as well as the Polynesian-themed Lapita Hotel.

Annual passes for Dubai Parks and Resorts have already gone on sale, and daily passes will be available soon.

“This has been a long-time coming and I can’t say enough about how excited we are to welcome our guests to the destination to Experience Amazing,” Dubai Parks and Resorts CEO Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi stated.

“Nothing of this magnitude has ever been done before, and we look forward to offering our guests close to 100 unforgettable rides, attractions and experiences. As the largest entertainment destination in the region, Dubai Parks and Resorts will create jobs in Dubai, support the UAE’s tourism vision and grow the family leisure industry in the region.”

Earlier this year, details of the park’s construction were released to the public. The facility cost an estimated $2.8 billion to complete and covers 9.5 square miles of desert southwest of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai Parks and Resorts officials are hoping to grow tourism numbers in the area by enticing travelers from all over the world to visit the facilities. Dubai hosted 14.2 million overnight visitors in 2015, and tourism authorities expect the number to reach 20 million guests per year by 2020.
