2026 Will Be A Great Year for Cheap India Flights!

As we have moved well in 2026, many people are wondering what will happen to Canada-India flights over the next few months.  While there was some turbulence last year due to airspace closures and supply chain issues, we are hopeful that many of those problems will be addressed as we enter 2026.

With many airlines ordering aircraft over the past few years that have not been delivered, things finally seem to be picking up pace as Air India is now receiving new aircraft from both Boeing and Airbus.  In only the last few days, Air India has received its first Dreamline from Boeing and has quickly announced that it will be place on the Frankfurt to Delhi route.  While Canadians may not have access to this new aircraft directly, the code-share partnership with Air Canada will connect from Canada.

In addition, over the next few months, we expect many more deliveries, allowing Air India to ramp up its schedule, and this new capacity will mean cheap India flights for Canadians down the road.  We are also hopeful that 2026 will finally be the year that new aircraft will be flying from Vancouver and Toronto to Delhi.  If new aircraft are deployed, they be less costly to operate and will allow Air India to provide cheap India flights.

Air Canada is also expected to receive a new batch of aircraft, and there is great expectation that some will be deployed to India as well.  All of this additional capacity will mean cheap India flights for you!

For passengers who are departing from Toronto and travelling to Delhi late this winter, there are cheap India flights available!  If you fly on the Delta codeshare using Air France on the outbound and Virgin Atlantic on the return, you can fly for only $1639, including tax, which is extremely low for this time of year.

For passengers who want the shortest route, your best option is to fly on the Air Canada direct flight from Toronto.  You can fly on this popular flight for only $2199!

Customers who are leaving from Vancouver and travelling to India and are hoping to get a cheap India flight can expect to pay more than those leaving from Vancouver.  In late Winter you can find a flight on British Airways for $2125, but if you want to fly on the Air India direct flight, it is only a hundred dollars more and is available from only $2250!

Overall, we expect 2026 to be much better for those who want to secure a cheap flight to India from Canada. With aircraft deliveries increasing and the Middle Eastern carriers allowed additional flights from Canada, there will be great options available!
