Air India & Air Canada Add New Flight to India!

As customers who want a last-minute cheap India flight are scouring all available options, they are finding that prices have jumped considerably due to the ongoing concerns in the Middle East.  While Emirates and Etihad have almost returned to a full schedule, customers continue to avoid booking flights via those very large hubs.  As most customers are all looking to travel via Europe or on direct flights, those airlines have become very expensive.

A major concern that will most likely impact your ability to get a cheap flight to India is that oil prices have risen dramatically over the last few weeks, and airlines have already started to increase fuel surcharges, adding additional costs to your India flights.  While we are seeing a drop in demand for last minute, the potential for future price rises has increased demand for customers looking to book early for the Fall and lock in a cheap flight to India.

One item of positive news due to the situation in the Middle East is that Air Canada has added an additional non-stop flight from Toronto to New Delhi.  With so many passengers still looking to travel to India from Canada and a lack of available seats, this temporary flight addition is a great development.  While Air Canada has stated that this additional flight will only be available in March, there is no reason why it cannot be extended for April if the situation demands it.

If the instability continues in the Middle East and passengers are avoiding Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways, there is a great likelihood that Air Canada will provide this new flight for a longer period, which will help you to find a cheap India flight!

For customers ready to move from the 2026 Winter departure and into the Fall of 2026, there are plenty of great prices already available!  With fuel prices expected to go up, it is a great time to lock in prices before the airlines get a chance to react to recent events!

Passengers who want to fly from Toronto to New Delhi this September can book now and find prices as low as $1599 with ITA Airlines via Rome.  As this is a new service, they are the best price and being Italy’s national carrier, the service will be great!  Another cheap India flight option available is to fly with Air India; they have prices available for only $1629!

For customers departing from Vancouver and travelling to India this Fall, you also have a cheap India flight available for only $1439!  This is a new option with Eva Airways to Bangkok and then connecting to Air India to get to Delhi.  While this option does have two stops in both directions, the price can’t be beat!

If you want the super popular Air India direct flight from Vancouver, then you will be paying a premium, with flights available from only $1699!  While it is a few hundred dollars more to fly on Air India, the time savings are significant, and it is a cheap flight to India!

While there are some concerns about travel in general due to the situation in the Middle East, customers have been quite lucky as the majority of Canada to India travel is finished, which means customers are already looking past this summer to get a cheap flight to India!
