Air India Promises to Reduce Flight Prices!

There is big news this week if you are looking to buy cheap India flights!  The CEO of Air India, Campbell Wilson, has announced that India’s national carrier will offer lower pricing moving forward.  This is due to the fact that Air India planes lack consistency across the network, and customers have been upset with the dates of their airplanes.  To compensate for this lower level of expected service on India flights, prices will be reduced!

While it may not be the best situation as most people would like to enjoy cheap Canada to India flights on new aircraft that fact that Air India has come to the realization that if they don’t change customers will decide to take the competition, and there is plenty of other options when flying from Canada to India.  When Air India was privatized a few years ago there was plenty of excitement that the new owners would quickly turn around the carrier and provide all of the necessities of an international legacy carrier, unfortunately, the change is taking much longer than anticipated.  In addition, the lack of new planes available is hampering any effort to bring new efficient aircraft.

Air India along with most other carriers had assumed that supply chain issues in the aircraft manufacturing business would be solved by now, but they continue to delay plane deliveries and with new tariffs coming online the expectation is that the issues will most likely continue.  All of these issues have combined to force Air India to lower the prices and give you cheap India flights!

While Air India has not made a concrete plan to reduce prices on Canada to India routes, the fact that this announcement has been made is very positive and should reduce prices sooner rather then later.  As other airlines will be forced to respond to changes at Air India it will reduce prices on most Canada to India flights!

If you are looking for a cheap flight to India from Toronto the price is now the cheapest in June!  As we close in dates for late spring certain airlines are seeing significant issues with the loads on their Canada to India flights.  Air France in particular is offering a fare of only $1439 for departures in June which is extremely low for this period.  If you want the convenience of a direct flight, Air India is your best option with prices starting at $1809.  While this price is higher than what Air France is offering it is still a great low-fare option!  We are seeing quite a few opportunities to secure a cheap flight to India from Toronto!

Customers who are travelling from the West Coast of Canada and want to get a cheap flight to India are in luck for departures from Vancouver.  The alliance of Air Canada and United Airlines are offering an amazing price for flights via Montreal on your departure and New York on your return.  You can find a flight on this airline combination for an astounding $1389 this June!  We have not seen a price like that from Vancouver to Delhi for a very long time!   If you want to get the convenience of Air India’s direct flight, it will cost you almost $2000 so the savings by connecting are huge.

With all that is occurring on specific airlines and with the economy in general, it looks like you will be able to secure a cheap flight to India this year!  With reports of the airlines shrugging to fill their planes if you book early, you should be able to get a cheap flight to India for the Fall!  Or if you want to leave soon you can get an amazing cheap flight to India this June!
