Air India Seat Sale to India from Vancouver

For those hoping to find a cheap flight to India this year, the news has turned positive, especially for those in Vancouver.  With Air India now flying daily from Vancouver to Delhi, they have decided to introduce promotional fares to spark the market.  At this point, there are many low fares available for departures this September, with other airlines potentially having to lower their fares to compete.

While most of the Indian traffic likes to depart in October to have the greatest amount of time in India during the festival season many may decide to depart early to save hundreds of dollars.  As competition finally heats up for Canada to India flight business, there is a much greater chance for you to find a cheap flight to India this year.

With rules around COVID almost completely removed as compared to this time last year and now with the additional carrot of low-priced air tickets to India from Canada this fall, it is looking more likely that we will have a very busy India season.  While it was expected that ticket prices would remain high preventing family groups from travelling the most recent fare drop by Air India and others could signal a new opportunity to get to India this year at a very low price.

For those customers who had not seen their family in India for many years due to COVID, they may now have their chance to reunite with their loved ones.

With Air India now adding flights to Vancouver, increasing the competition for passengers this September we are not seeing the same pressures for flights from Toronto to Delhi, but fares are still better than they were a few weeks ago.  Now you can find fares as low as $2000 on the Air Canada direct flight departing in September and returning in February.  With many of the airlines now offering better fares in the fall for India it may have been that the airlines were asking too much in trying to get the highest fare possible and now things are coming back down to normal levels, all of this points to cheap India flights for you and your family.

For customers looking for flights out of Vancouver, Air India has recently dropped its fares by a considerable amount.  For many dates in September, you can fly on the Air India direct service from Vancouver to Delhi one-way for only $600, for those who can get this price it is a cheap flight to India.

Passengers who need a round-trip ticket are also in luck as you can find a round-trip flight for only $1650.

While not a small amount of money, this is a significant drop as many customers were paying over $2500 for their flight to India this year.  It is still very costly to travel in the peak season for India, but if you can start your trip earlier than most there are significant savings to find.

Overall, the increased service from Air India has added a new element of competition in the Vancouver to Delhi market.  From Toronto as Air India had already operated a significant amount of flights they have not had to drop their fares to increase their market share, but fares are still lower than they were a few weeks back.

All of this points to the airlines not being able to secure the flight loads they had expected by keeping fares extremely high.  While student traffic will allow the airlines to secure a large number of passengers it is still not enough to keep their flights as full as they would like, all of this means cheap India flights for you and your family!
