Canada to India Travel Picks Up After Diwali!

With Diwali behind us, we are looking forward to a busy week for Canada to India bookings.  For the past few days with many spending time with friends and family, it is typically a slow time for passengers making big decisions for their travel to India.  Now that one of the biggest festivals in India is behind, we expect another large increase in bookings as people look to last-minute flights and bookings for the Winter of 2025 so now is the time to book your cheap flight to India!

One item that has occurred in the last few days is Air Canada, which has opened up a significant amount of space on their flights via London from Vancouver, as their strategy to keep prices high did not seem to work.  As we are now in November with a short period before these flights depart you can find one-way flights on this route for only $1210, which is a deep discount on the price they attempted to secure only a few weeks ago.  The fact that Air Canada has opened up space at this time is great news for those looking to buy a cheap India flight at the last minute.  Unfortunately for Air Canada, most passengers flying from Vancouver to Delhi in November purchased their tickets a long time ago.

In other India flight news Air India, the national flag carrier of India has formally announced two new routes from Los Angeles and Dallas.  These two new options to get from North America to India will provide relief for those passengers and will also provide increased capacity.  Any new seats from North America to India will help reduce overall congestion leading to cheap India flights for you!

For passengers departing for Toronto to Delhi, once again Delta Airlines is your best bet to secure a cheap flight to India.  They have prices starting from only $1790 this Winter and proving to be highly competitive and are therefore taking a significant share of the market from Toronto to Delhi.  Anyone who is looking to buy on a direct flight on Air India for the same dates will be looking at paying a large premium with prices starting from $2300.

If you are departing from Vancouver to India, we will finally see the Air Canada and Lufthansa partnership become much more aggressive.  As they completely missed out on Fall bookings, they are hoping not to make the same mistake for the Winter.  Right now, you can find Winter departures via Munich for only $1780.  While the direct service on Air India will cost almost $2600.  Many passengers have already booked a flight option on Air India this Winter so now Air Canada & Lufthansa are trying to secure their share this Winter.

As we head into Winter here in Canada we expect another big increase in bookings as people hope to spend time in the nice Indian weather.  With Air Canada and Lufthansa looking to make up for lost time there are plenty of cheap India flights to found in the next few months.
