Customers are Booking Fall & Winter India Flights Today!

Are you looking to buy cheap India flights!  We are starting to see the beginning of the major booking season as some customers have already locked in flights to India this fall and winter!  The airlines are competing early to secure their share of customers.  Air India, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Lufthansa and Air Canada all reducing prices to increase their market share.  With a wide variety of airlines to choose from and prices coming down, we are starting to see early bookers making their decisions on what airline to travel with this Fall.

Right now, the big winner in all of this is Cathay Pacific.  With plenty of flights to India via Hong Kong and a large amount of capacity to Canada, they are able to keep prices low forcing the carriers to follow suit.  In Vancouver, many customers have decided not to wait any longer for prices on the direct service to drop which is impacting Air India.  While a significant number of people would rather fly on India’s national carrier getting a direct flight, prices remain on the higher side on the peak fall and winter dates which has caused customers to shift over to Cathay Pacific.  We don’t expect this trend to continue as Air India will most likely lower prices soon to ensure they get their fair share of expected Vancouver to Delhi traffic.

From Toronto, the Middle Eastern carriers of Etihad, Qatar Airways and Emirates are all being aggressive to take share away from the direct services of Air Canada and Air India, but many customers continue to wait for prices to fall on the direct services instead.  As we get closer to September we expect the number of India bookings to rise quickly!

Passengers departing from Toronto to Delhi are finding the Air Canada and United Airlines flight options via New York to be the cheapest in the market.  You can fly on this combination in August in both directions for only $1230.  If you want to fly on the Air India direct flight on the same dates you will end up paying close to $1680 which is a very good price for the convenience of a direct flight!

For customers leaving from Vancouver to India, Air India is the cheapest flight in the market right now.  You can find the direct flight on Air India available for only $1249 in late August which is an amazing price for such a convenient schedule.  Cheap flights to India are already available from Vancouver and now is the time to book!

In general, we are starting to see customers making decisions for fall and winter flights from Canada to India.  With the large availability of flights and lower prices than last year, we should see a big season with lots of people travelling to India this year!
