Middle East Cease Fire Means More Options for India Travel!

Customers from around the world continue to travel despite security concerns and increased fuel prices.  As customers from Canada who want to travel to India are finding that, due to the lack of capacity, without the equivalent lack of demand, we are seeing higher airfares.  As everyone who want to travel is looking for cheap India flights, there is some good news on the horizon!

Over the last few days, there has been a ceasefire in the Middle East offering a quick reduction in fuel prices.  While we are unsure if this means an end to the war, if that does happen, we will see a quick turnaround in flight prices.  With the Middle Eastern carriers in a difficult spot, they will have no choice but to reply with massive seat sales to fill all their excess capacity.  Once carriers, including Etihad, Emirates and Qatar Airways, feel comfortable, expect massive discounts and cheap India flights quickly hitting the market!

While the Middle Eastern carriers will quickly drop fares, their competition might take the opposite approach.  Carriers like Air India, Air Canada, British Airways, Air France, KLM and Lufthansa will probably be able to include a “safety premium” at least for the next few weeks, as passengers will pay more to avoid carriers in the Middle East.  The push and pull between these two groups will stabilize quickly, as memories are short and there will be cheap India flights available, with customers always considering price as one of the most important factors when selecting a flight from Canada to India.

With a potential de-escalation in the Middle East, we hope to see a rapid, significant reduction in India flight prices, allowing you to secure cheap India flights again!

For passengers who are departing from Toronto that are going to New Delhi and are ready to book there already some amazing seat sales from the Middle East carriers.  Right now, Etihad has a cheap India flight with prices starting from only $1499!  Passengers who are looking to fly on Air Canada’s direct service will have to pay the usual premium, which will allow you to get from Toronto to India without stopping for only $2189!

In this instance, it probably makes sense to take the significant discount and fly with Etihad!

For passengers departing from Vancouver and travelling to India, the best way to travel if you want to get a cheap flight to India is with Korean Airways.  Their amazing service and free transit lounge in Seoul are why they continue to pick up more passengers from Vancouver.  Right now, they have a flight to Delhi that is available for only $1559!

With so many passengers looking to fly on the most convenient option, which from Vancouver is always Air India, they are offering flights for $3099.  As Air India is unsure of their strategy for the fall, they are taking a careful approach by not providing cheap India flights yet!
