Plenty of Options to Get You From Canada to India!

As we enter the prime booking season for India flights we expect a significant increase in bookings.  As students go back to school their parents and grandparents will be securing their cheap flights to India.  Those who took advantage of the Air India seat sale in August have already purchased a cheap India flight and those who did not may end up paying more.  While many in August were enjoying their summer vacation those who were paying attention to buying a cheap India ticket were pleasantly surprised at their luck when Air India lowered ticket prices from Canada to Delhi.

For the majority of people who have not yet bought a flight to India for this fall or winter, time is running out. There are still plenty of options to secure a cheap ticket to India. With so many new flights and the existing options from years past, there is a long list of airlines providing services from Canada to India.

Air Canada offers a significant increase in their flights to India this year with new options from Vancouver and Calgary via London.  They have also added new flights from Toronto to Mumbai and finally, they have increased their Montreal to Delhi service, in addition to their Toronto to Delhi direct service.  All of the flights to India from Canada also provide convenient connections from many domestic destinations in Canada like, Winnipeg, Kelowna, Prince George and Halifax.  Finally, as Air Canada is part of a joint venture with Lufthansa and United you can also use their flights in combination to find a cheap flight to India.

The Lufthansa group of carriers also has many great flights to Delhi from points in Canada.  With its flight to Frankfurt from Vancouver and Toronto it connects to many destinations in India including New Delhi.  Also, their flights to Zurich on their partner carrier Edelweiss and Swiss Air are another great option to get your cheap flight to India.

KLM and Air France provide many cheap flight options to India from both Toronto and Vancouver.  Their aggressive pricing this fall has allowed them to increase their market share and the positive results will hopefully give them an incentive to keep prices low.  With the ability to combine these two carriers using their hubs in Amsterdam and Paris, you can find a convenient and cheap option to Delhi.

Finally, the mainstay of British Airways has been providing cheap flight prices to India for decades.  While they do not have a partner in Canada their multiple flights from London to India including Delhi and flights from Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto the British flag carrier is always a popular option for India flights.

For those looking to purchase a cheap India flight from Toronto, KLM is once again a great option to consider.  Their convenient flight to Delhi via Amsterdam is the cheapest in the market with prices starting from only $1780.  While the popular direct flight option on Air India will set you back $2180.  The $400 difference will allow you to get to India much faster, but the cost savings on KLM is significant.

For passengers leaving from Vancouver to Delhi, Air Canada’s flight via London is now the cheapest in the market.  The special fare they are offering is only $1785 and departs in late October.  If you want to fly on Air India for the same dates it will cost almost $1000 more with a purchase price of $2800.  With demand quite high on the direct flight we may not see a big drop in Air India’s price so now is the time to book.
