Slowdown in Bookings for Canada to India Flight Tickets

Also, in the news this week Air India has once again shuffled their schedules for 2025.  For those Canadians of Punjabi origin, the changes are significant.  Air India will be increasing their schedule for flights from Amritsar to the United Kingdom.  In the next few months, Air India will increase the number of flights from Gatwick and Birmingham to Amritsar which is the capital of Punjab.  The increase in these flights will allow greater connectivity for those hoping to fly directly to Punjab instead of connecting through New Delhi.

Passengers from Canada will be able to use the flights from Gatwick to Delhi by travelling to London.  With so many Canadians having family in London we will continue to see Canadians overnight in the United Kingdom by flying to London on British Airways or Air Canada and then connecting to Air India service to Amritsar from Gatwick Airport.  As Air India continues to grow its network, we expect even more announcements in the coming weeks and months.

Air India is also facing some concerns which are preventing them from adding to their schedule as they continue to face issues with new aircraft.  The airline has purchased many new airplanes from both Airbus and Boeing but supply chain issues are continuing to impact the number of planes being received.  As these supply chain issues are worked out over the next few months Air India should be able to increase their schedule from North America to India at a faster clip.  The increase in the number of flights will increase your ability to get a cheap flight to India!  While we have been hoping for increased deliveries for many months hopefully issues within the aircraft manufacturing sector will be worked out.

For customers looking to buy a cheap flight to Delhi from Toronto, we are once again seeing passengers start early and plan their trips for the fall.  Air India’s direct flight service to India is available this October for only $1755.  In the past, the vast majority of Inda passengers waited until their departure date was much closer before making a purchase, but now that most airlines want to fill their planes as early as possible you are getting the best price by making a decision to purchase well in advance.

People who are travelling from Vancouver to India are once again enjoying last-minute cheap India tickets courtesy of Qatar Airlines.  While most carriers are satisfied with their flight loads for the rest of Winter, Qatar Airlines has decided that it needs to keep prices low in order to generate the necessary sales to keep its flights full.  Flights on Qatar Airlines via Seattle and Doha from Vancouver are available for only $1369 which is a great price for those who need a last-minute flight to India.
