Air Canada Direct Flight to Dubai from Vancouver!

Looking to buy a cheap flight to India?  There has been good news this week.  While most are avoiding travelling now from Canada to India as the temperatures rise in both countries, we are seeing more queries for those going this fall and winter.  While Air India which controls most of the market from Canada has lowered the price of flights departing India coming back to Canada is still incredibly expensive.  In addition, the Indian government is protecting their home carriers and not allowing further increases in flights from their market.

In response to the issue of getting direct flights from Canada to India, the Canadian government has further extended its agreement with the United Arab Emirates.  The further increase in capacity between UAE and Canada should have a positive impact on flights to India this fall.  Already Emirates Airlines has announced going daily from Dubia to Toronto and Air Canada has announced a new direct service from Vancouver to Dubai this fall.

While the new service to the UAE will not directly impact Canada to India market right away, this will allow many customers to travel to Dubai and then catch a short connecting flight to New Delhi or other smaller cities in India all for a lower price, which will mean a cheap flight to India for you!  Air Canada and Emirates also have a codeshare agreement that allows everyone to easily connect to many destinations in Africa and the Indian sub-continent, this arrangement does not yet allow for traffic to go to India, but that could change with this increased frequency.  Finally, for those stopping over in Dubai on their way to India to shop or see the sites, this will impact your ability to secure a cheap flight to India.

Customers leaving from Toronto to go to New Delhi in the new few weeks have some great options as one-way flights to India are struggling to be filled.  If you want to purchase a one-way ticket from Toronto to Delhi one-way in the next few weeks, they are available for as low as $710!  If you want to purchase a return ticket, they are still expensive with prices starting at $2600 on direct Air Canada flights.  For those who are already looking to buy a ticket for this fall, you can find a ticket on the Air Canada direct flight for the same price of $2600.  If you want to save even more you can try the direct service on Air India with flights being offered for only $1675.  A great way to get a cheap India flight!

For passengers leaving the Vancouver market Air India is what many travellers of using to get to India.  If you want to buy a one-way fare from Vancouver to Delhi, they are available in the next few weeks for only $728!  As most are looking to buy a return ticket, they are available from $1885, which is much lower than most paid during the high season for India travel.  For customers looking to travel this fall, there are cheap India flights available on the direct service on Air India for only $1660.  While some customers are hoping the Chinese carriers will start service this fall further reducing prices, it may be a risk as without their capacity these prices will most likely go up.

Overall, there has been positive news in the last few weeks for those hoping to get a cheap flight to India.  Air Canada’s new service from Vancouver to Dubai along with Emirates increased service from Toronto will allow you to get a cheaper flight to India.  With these new services, there is some expectation that fares will slowly start to come down so you can find a cheap flight to India.
