Book Your India Flight For the Fall Today!

For anyone who is looking for a cheap flight to India, you need to book early and save!  For the first time since 2019, we are seeing great fares that are available only if you are ready to book now for the Fall travel season.  Back in 2019, we saw similar aggressive tactics mainly by the Chinese carriers who were fighting for market share.  At that point we could find prices from Vancouver to Delhi for only $800, we know those days are over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find amazing prices from Canada to India.

The key to finding a good price is the same as it was in 2019.  While you may not find those rock-bottom fares to India you can still find a competitive price if you book early.  In previous years when the market was much smaller and the planes were bigger airlines depended on traffic to India to fill their planes during the slow season.

Now that there is less capacity on these major international routes and the fact that the airlines are much better at planning their business it is less likely that they will have to use last-minute seat sales because they forecasted their traffic incorrectly.

In years past it was normal for the passengers travelling from Canada to India to outwait the airlines, with the smaller community and large aircraft many customers could wait until the airlines had no choice but the drop their airfares at the last minute for fear of aircraft travelling empty.  Customers who did wait were able to access a cheap flight to India, but those days have now changed.  It is extremely important to plan your trip to India and book early to save money.

If you want a cheap flight to India from Toronto your best bet is to fly via Paris on Air France.  The fare this fall is only $1789 including all taxes which is much lower than customers ended up paying if they waited until the last minute.  Another good option is to just stick with Air India as their direct flights are only $100 more which is a great way to get a cheap flight to India.

As a lot of people want to get a cheap India flight on Air Canada, we get a lot of questions on when the right time is to purchase tickets on their direct flight.  If you want to buy a ticket on the direct service on Air Canada from Toronto to Delhi this fall it will set you back $2531 which is significantly more than what Air India is charging for a similar service.  Air Canada will always keep their price higher than Air India as they have a goal to get business people who are willing to spend more rather than leisure traffic which is always more price conscious. If you are dedicated to the Air Canada brand then it makes sense to wait and hope that their flights fill up with such a large spread in pricing.

For those leaving Vancouver who are looking for a cheap flight to India, there are amazing deals available this fall.  Air India is once again keeping their prices low, but they are starting to rise slowly.  You can find fall fares on the Air India direct flight for only $1600!  If you buy now, you will get your cheap India flight this fall.  If you wait hoping for a new carrier or a seat sale you will probably be out of luck.

Once again as we see Fall prices to India coming in below expectations now is a great time to book your trip.  As we have seen since the start of the pandemic prices are much lower for those who book ahead as we continue to find that those who are booking at the last minute face higher prices.  Now there is always a concern that we could have a recession that could create lower prices in the future, but with aircraft being much smaller and few options to fly to India from Canada now is the right time to get your cheap flight to India.
