Low Prices for Canada to India Flights Available to Book!

For those of you looking to purchase cheap India flights at the rates seen in 2019, you may know the major issue in preventing those low prices.  The vast majority of prices that were below $1000 were provided by the three Chinese mainland carriers.  Air China, China Eastern and China Southern all provided rock-bottom fares and took the majority of the Vancouver to Delhi market.

During COVID all of the Canada to India flights via China were stopped for obvious reasons along with the rest of the travel industry.  Now that travel is almost where it was in 2019 we continue not to have the cheap India flight via China and that will most likely not change anytime soon.

While the Chinese government is eager to restart service to India the Indian government has decided to allow now these 3 airlines to fly into this fast-growing market.  While the political situation remains tense between these two neighbors it is not yet in a place where India would welcome new participants into the market.  The fact that these three airlines provided the cheapest flights to India and will not be restarting their services in the short term means most likely we will not see those cheap India flights for quite some time.

If you are a passenger departing from Toronto to Delhi this fall, there are cheap India flights available to purchase right now.  Those customers who book early will save money!  As we enter summer the airline industry will shift their focus to the fall to make sure that their planes in September are full.  Right now, it is Air France and KLM leading the way for cheap India flights.  You will find a ticket in September for only $1629.  If you prefer a direct service with no connection Air India has flights for as low as $1917 including two free checked bags.  Air Canada’s direct service is $2640 currently as they continue to price their product substantially higher than Air India.

People leaving from the Vancouver gateway to India continue to find Air France is the cheapest flight option to India.  Even with all of the new services announced in the past few weeks, Air France remains the lowest price option in the market with fares starting from $1489.  With prices so low we are seeing fewer people resort to driving to Seattle to find a cheap flight to India.  As most people travelling to India prefer to have a direct flight Air India continues to generate the highest number of sales and they are still proving a good price.  With ticket prices starting from only $1898, there is a cheap India flight available for you.

As we get closer to the peak booking season for India flights airlines have started to change their focus from Europe over to India.  While we are enjoying the lowest prices in India, we have seen in years it is not at the level of 2019.  With the Chinese carriers no longer able to operate direct flights to India they can no longer offer the cheap India flights we all want, but ticket prices to India are coming down anyway.  With most of the pent-up demand and plenty of routes starting this year, travel to India will be the cheapest it has been in almost 5 years!
