Are you looking to buy a cheap India flight?

Many customers have purchased an air ticket from Vancouver and Toronto to India in the last few weeks.  Normally December slows down quite rapidly as so many are focused on having fun with friends and family, but this year due to all of the political impacts we are seeing the busiest start to December in 5 years!  While this is good news for those who have purchased cheap India flights, others who planned to wait until January to make a booking on their flight to India might be facing higher prices.  If this pace keeps up, we will most likely see reduced inventory for those planning to book in January as the number of seats for sale is quickly going down.  If you are still planning to fly to India this winter, now is the time to secure a cheap India flight!

Travelling from Toronto to New Delhi things have changed quite rapidly in the past 7 days.  Air France & KLM had been very aggressive for the last few weeks, but that has now changed with Turkish Airways being the lowest price option on your flight to New Delhi.  They have prices available from $1949.  Air India is also being competitive in this space with their direct flight starting at $2486.  While the Air India price is $500 more than Turkish Airways, the fact that it is a direct flight means it is very popular.  Air Canada being the other direct flight option from Toronto is also very popular but they are only offering 1 bag on that route, but their strong brand allows them to charge more than Air India with prices starting at $2641.

Passengers departing from Vancouver to New Delhi as finding fares that are lower than Toronto!  We have not seen this for a long time, but that trend continues to hold.

Turkish Airways once again holds the title of the lowest price with fares starting from $1830!  In addition, the market from Seattle to Delhi is quite strong as they have more competition driving down prices.  Once again Air India is taking the majority of the business because its direct flight option provides the balance of service and price people want, but its fares are still quite high with prices starting from $2352.

As we normally expect a slow December this year is proving to be quite different.  We strongly assume that all of the political issues that were creating a problem are now in the past so people are booking cheap flights to India as fast as they can.  If you have the time to book your cheap flight to India in the next few weeks now is a great time to book!  Based on past booking volumes we could expect January to be very busy, but prices will most likely be trending higher as the last-minute India flights will be more expensive.
