Canada to India – Find a Cheap Flight Today!

Over the past week, large numbers of Canadians have committed to booking their flight to India.  While many people are hoping for prices to go down to get a cheap ticket to India, large numbers have now committed to the fact that prices will remain high this fall.  While some carriers like Air Canada have kept their fares extremely high hoping that people will eventually pay these prices, other carriers like Air India and British Airways have found that lowering the prices has made the market move.  While these are lower prices than the competition in India, they are still commanding higher ticket prices than what many customers used before the pandemic.  Many customers have decided that if they don’t book now prices may rise further reducing their ability to secure a cheap India flight.

While customers are avoiding Air Canada due to their high price point, that may change soon as they have announced a new partnership with Emirates out of Dubai.  As the final details are not available yet, we can assume that this codeshare agreement will allow Air Canada to bring its passengers to Dubai and then have Emirates carry them to their final destination.

The code-share partnership should open up many new destinations in India on this new agreement and allow passengers to fly on an Air Canada ticket to many second-tier cities in India.  In addition, it should allow customers to fly via Dubai in one direction and then fly on the direct flight in the other.  Overall, even without the final details of this project, it should open up new opportunities to get to India and hopefully a new way to secure a cheap India ticket.

For travellers looking to buy a cheap ticket to India this fall from Toronto to Delhi, there are many options available but right now most are looking at the Air India direct flight.  While the direct flight from Toronto to Delhi is extremely convenient it is available at a reasonable cost of $2280.  For the vast majority of people who are willing to sacrifice convenience to get the best price on their flight to India, there are plenty of other options available from Toronto.  Right now, the best-priced flight in the market is Emirates via Dubai at only $1990, this option is available at a lower cost than it has been in quite a few years, but as we have already seen a large number of bookings on this route, it might not be the cheapest India flight from Toronto for too long.

Clients looking to fly from Vancouver to Delhi have fewer options than those out of Toronto, but Air India is still offering very competitive prices and is available from $2280.  Right now, with most carriers charging higher prices on their European hub to India fares out of Vancouver are higher when you stop, for that reason most bookings are being done with Air India.  As many of the lower-class seats have been booked already, we are seeing fares jump in many places.

Overall fares continue to rise as we get closer to the prime booking season for India tickets.  Those who purchased a few weeks ago are enjoying the savings and now have their cheap ticket to India.  Many of those customers who have not yet booked but continue to look for a low-priced ticket to India are struggling to find the fare that works for them.  Unfortunately, due to the extreme demand in the market and continued lack of capacity, we may find that customers will have no choice but to pay more this year, to make a trip to India.
