To top this off, we continue to see a massive demand for travel departing India.  With large numbers of Indian students wanting to travel abroad for their studies, it has created an imbalance of air traffic impacting your ability to purchase a cheap round-trip ticket to India.  Due to the imbalance, it is possible to get a cheap India flight one-way, we expect this situation to continue for the short term and potentially even longer.

With all the challenges impacting the market, the best way to get a cheap ticket to India is to book as early as possible because students have no choice but to travel when their studies start so they will always be looking to start their research for travel much earlier than a leisure customer.  With the competition for seats, booking as early as possible will be the new norm for Canada-to-India travel as return trips from India to Canada will continue to have significant numbers of student traffic well into the future.

For passengers leaving from Toronto to Delhi this fall most are purchasing the Air India direct flight as it is the cheapest in the market and the shortest flying time.  Tickets are available on Air India for $1860 during September.  Customers who avoid Air India due to potential service issues are looking closely at Delta Airlines over the past week with prices starting from $1970.  For those customers who like the convenience of Air Canada now is actually a great time to buy a ticket on their direct flight from Toronto to India with cheap India flights from $2112.

Passengers looking for a great deal departing from Vancouver this fall are not able to find a cheap flight to India right now.

Air India continues to take most of the business despite raising fares in the past few days.  This fall Air India prices are available from $2500 and customers are still purchasing them.  Customers looking for a deal can opt to travel from Seattle or consider the option from ANA Airlines, but they have a significant layover in Tokyo.

Vancouver customers are still hoping that something changes so they can buy a cheap flight to India.

Overall, we are starting to see prices rise for the fall and winter travel seasons as more people switch strategies and are booking early to get a cheap India flight rather than wait and hope for a seat sale.
